How to acquire images
The acquire function is the picture import center of Ashampoo® Gadge It. Scan, download or copy it just from the clipboard! Ashampoo® Gadge It allows different ways of getting your own pictures into your menu and splash screen designs.
As shown in the dialog you have four possibilities to add images:
From Clipboard inserts pictures from the clipboard of your system into Ashampoo® Gadge It.
From Internet offers a menu to enter an URL and load and import a picture from the internet. See here for more details!
From file opens an explorer-like menu to browse through your files and add it to your current project.
From Scanner or Camera enables you to connect external sources and to import pictures to your current project. If you have a scanner or camera connected to your computer, you can then import or scan a picture. If you have several different sources such as scanner, webcam etc., you should select the source first (see below).
Select Source Lets you define which source (e.g. scanner, webcam, camera,etc.’) is actually used to import graphics. After pressing the select source button a list of your available sources will be shown from which you may select the source of your choice.
Click Ready to proceed!
